MG launches TV campaign to boost brand and MG3 hybrid awareness


MG is launching a new TV campaign that it hopes to boost brand awareness and the launch of its MG3 Hybrid+ model.

The TV commercial and supporting campaign that will run across all major terrestrial and satellite channels and across key European stations.

The advert, which was shot exclusively in iconic Birmingham locations, shows the feel good ‘aura’ that a person gives off when they are driving or even just anticipating getting behind the wheel of their MG3 Hybrid+.

Justin Griffiths, group creative director at, the company that helped create the advert, said: ““We wanted to flip the thinking behind traditional automotive films by making the car the principal character in the advert, delivering its own features and emotional connection with the audience.

AM’s dealer readers recently voted for the MG 4 to win the Used Electric Vehicle of the Year trophy, sponsored by WarrantyWise, at the 2024 AM Awards.

Based on an all-new platform, the MG4 was the first of a new family of electric cars from MG.

More than 30,000 MG4 cars have been sold already since it entered the UK in 2022, which means a good future supply of used models for dealerships.
